Guests of the Chalet Makini enjoy the privileged location and can click into their skis from the door of the chalet and make use of the enviable ski-in/ski-out access. Located within the distinguished Hameau area of Verbier, it is a short ski to the Le Rouge lift each morning and to finish the day guests can ski back to the door via the Les Esserts beginner slopes, snow conditions allowing.
The stellar location is where the Chalet Makini starts to differentiate itself from other chalets, however the quality of the chalet is also where it does so. Not only does the Chalet Makini have a spectacular location but it is expertly crafted, fusing reclaimed timber and natural stone. The furnishings and decor are befitting of a chalet of this stature with a grand chandelier in the double height dining room and entertainment system wired throughout the chalet.
The stone fireplace in the main living room is the true focal point of the chalet and where many spend evenings in enjoying one another’s company. Additionally the spa often draws some much desired attention as one of Verbier’s finest and it is located just 100 metres away from the main chalet. Guests have a choice of facilities in the spa to use including a swimming pool, indoor hot-tub, sauna, hammam, fitness suite and relaxation area.
Guests of Chalet Makini will be wonderfully looked after by their private chalet chef and team of staff. The chef will create menus tailored to the groups preferences on six evenings of the week and in order to offer complete flexibility staffing is included however food and drink is chargeable on top at cost price plus VAT. The wine cellar and quality of wines available from the in-house à la carte wine list are superb and some wonderfully rare.
There are five en-suite bedrooms, each full of character and beautifully inviting. There is plenty of indoor parking at the Chalet Makini as well as a 24 hour security system illustrating the discrete nature of the chalet which protects guests privacy.
