Day 1: Nxai Pan Camp, Kalahari Salt Pans, Botswana

Fly into Maun airport and you will be whisked straight to your chartered plane and onto Nxai Pan Camp in the Nxai Pan National Park. Here you can relax in the comfort of the lodge which is 100% solar operated, an environmentally adapted camp. Enjoy game drives into the park and take a day trip to the famous Khama Khama Pan or Baines’ Baobabs. The Nxai Pan National Park is adjacent to the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, it’s a great time to visit here as well. There is an abundance of wildlife to view and it is an excellent starting point to your safari holiday.

Day 3: Xugana Island Lodge, Okavango Delta, Botswana

The Xugana Island Lodge is a set of beautiful thatched roof lodges overlooking the Xugana waters and here you can go canoeing, take a speed boat trip up the river or go on game drives, the choice is yours. Xugana Island Lodge is set in a tranquil location with nearby shallow waters and an idyllic setting for al fresco dining as you watch the sun go down.

Day 5: Kwando Lagoon Camp, Linyanti & Savuti Channel, Botswana

On the banks of the Kwando River lies the Kwando Lagoon Camp, surrounded by Marula trees, offering six luxury tented camps overlooking the river. This is an area popular with large herds of elephants, buffalo and pods of hippopotamus.

An excellent place to try your hand at fishing and to enjoy brunch or a sundowner after a game drive, the lodge also offers space to relax during the day with a lovely decking area and swimming pool.
