Selous Game Reserve, UNESCO World Heritage Site, spanning 50,000 kilometres squared, the game reserve is expansive and has a huge number of wildlife to discover, Selous is one of Africa’s largest game reserves, it’s a glimpse of undisturbed wilderness and a hidden gem, crowds don’t exist here!
Located in the south of Tanzania, the Selous is a wild natural habitat, untouched, full of life and a real haven, it offers a safari experience of true excellence. On foot, by boat or by 4×4 the experience of the Selous Game Reserve is available to everyone.
The Rufiji River intersects the park and helps support the wide array of wildlife found here. The sumptuous surroundings of luxury tented camps and lodges are readily available to relax in after an exhilarating day tracking the wildlife.
Within the Selous Game Reserve if lucky you might find black rhino, African bush elephants, crocodiles, cape buffaloes, lions and hippopotamuses, there’s also over 440 species of bird recorded in the park with the lagoons forming wonderful natural habitats for the birds.
