The Lamai Serengeti is a luxurious camp located in one of Tanzania’s most famous safari destinations: the Serengeti National Park. Renowned for its high concentration of varied wildlife, the Serengeti area is wonderful for seeing some of the best of Tanzania’s animal population. The Lamai Serengeti is positioned close by to its sister camp, the Lamai Private Camp which is ideal for groups looking for a private camp. The Lamai Serengeti is a beautiful camp and has an air of luxury whilst maintaining a traditional safari style. Like the private camp the Lamai Serengeti has indoor and outdoor dining areas, an inviting lounge for relaxing in between game drives and a wonderful swimming pool and deck area, perfect for cooling off in the afternoons.

Built into the hillside the bedrooms at the camp are invitingly spacious and light with roll top sides and furnished deck areas that give incredible views of the Serengeti from almost every angle. The Lamai Serengeti Camp offers excellent and friendly service as well as delicious meals which are included for guests staying at the camp. There are also some safari experiences included such as game drives and walking safaris (subject to seasonality). The majestic Serengeti changes dramatically with the seasons and depending on the time of year guests can expect to see elephants, leopards, hyenas and cheetahs. When the time is right (late July to October) guests will be treated to a journey to the nearby Mara River to watch as mass herds of migratory wildebeest try to cross this crocodile infested waterway.
