There is a variety of wildlife that can be spotted near to the camp due to the rich surrounding areas. The traditional maze-like waterways of the Okavango Delta as well as dry lands and savannahs of the African bush offer the perfect breeding ground. Guests of Camp Moremi can spot elephants, lions, kudu, waterbuck and fish eagles amongst other wildlife. The camp has incredible views over the game-rich Xakanaxa Lagoon and due to the location on high ground it affords spectacular views of the surrounding area. Camp Moremi was completely refreshed and redesigned in 2018 to enhance the feeling of old-world African luxury. There are beautiful safari tents for guests to stay in, each is on a raised wooden platform with a furnished deck offering the perfect spot for game viewing of the Moremi Game Reserve. The tents feature spacious bathrooms with double vanity sinks and showers, they are full of warmth and charm. There is also a family tent with two separate interconnecting bedrooms perfect for travelling with older children. The sunken bar is a popular place for guests to socialise after a morning or evening game drive, it is positioned around a large termite mound.
