The Toka Leya Camp sits overlooking the Zambezi River and it is from this wonderful location that there are often sightings of hippopotamuses, crocodiles, elephants and many bird species. The camp lies close to the town of Livingstone and is just 12 kilometres from ‘The Smoke That Thunders’: Victoria Falls, one of Africa’s most iconic attractions.
Toka Leya Camp is ideal for those looking for a luxurious lodge to relax in between exhilarating game drives and excursions. The lodge is on a full board basis and guests can look forward to twice daily game activities including boating safaris, game drives, a guided tour of Victoria Falls, a sunset river cruise and cultural experiences included with a stay here. Rhino tracking is an excellent opportunity to explore the area and see rhinos in the wild and can be added as an additional activity. For those looking to unwind the camp is perfect, it has a wellness centre with a yoga and meditation deck and the 12 tents all have wonderful verandahs.
There is plenty of space within the Toka Leya Camp for all guests to enjoy. The raised wooden deck is a great spot for impromptu game spotting with panoramic views. Whilst the attractive infinity pool and deck is enticingly refreshing and offers solace from the afternoon heat or the best place for a sundowner in the early evening.
