Day 1: &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Lake Manyara, Tanzania

Touch down in Nairobi on a direct flight from London and board a short flight to Lake Manyara, enjoy a three and a half hour drive spotting animals along the way until you reach &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. When you arrive, it is more than worth it, the only lodge in the Lake Manyara Park, the rooms are eloquent and with expertly designed interiors. From here you can enjoy a long bath, sample a spa treatment or relax on the deck by the swimming pool. Day 4: Little Chem Chem, Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

A small and luxurious camp which welcomes couples and families, when you arrive you feel like you are really in the wilderness. Overlooking Lake Burunge, set within the Tarangire National Park, it is the perfect spot to continue your safari journey. Offering a relaxing lounge area, and outdoor dining – a fantastic spot to watch elephant herds passing and eating from the surrounding trees. The lodge offers private dining as well as game drives and night time drives for after when you have enjoyed your sundowner cocktail or evening hot air balloon ride, there is also the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and meet a Maasai chief.

Day 6: &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Day 8: Lamai Private Camp, Serengeti, Tanzania

Lamai Private Camp is in the northern part of the Serengeti, built into the hillside it has incredible views over the Serengeti. This lodge is centred around guided walks, picnics and game drives, if you visit between July-October you may be lucky enough to witness the wildebeest crossing the Mara River. Offering outdoor dining, a swimming pool and time to relax on the terrace before enjoying a delicious dinner, it is a great way to experience the Serengeti.

Day 10: Xanadu Villas, Zanzibar, Tanzania
