Day 1: Kigali Serena Hotel, Kigali, Rwanda

Arrive into Kigali International Airport and enjoy the first sights of Rwanda’s capital as you transfer to the Kigali Serena Hotel. Here you can relax, enjoy the facilities including swimming pool, lounge and restaurants. Enjoy a tour of Kigali and the Genocide Memorial Museum before heading for lunch and travelling to Ruhengeri.

Day 2: Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda

Arrive at the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge in time for dinner and time to prepare for trekking in the mountain to see the gorillas. A beautiful lodge set in the Volcanoes National Park, your home away from home offering excellent views of this spectacular country. From the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge you will head to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing and you will spend between two to six hours in the park tracking gorillas. All going to plan you should spend around an hour with a family of gorillas.

Day 4: Trevoyan Guest House, Cape Town, South Africa

Onwards to Kigali and the second part of your trip; South Africa. Once you have landed in Cape Town, The Trevoyan Guest House is just a 30 minute drive from the airport passing the sights of Table Mountain. A centrally located guesthouse in the friendly Tamboerskloof area it is close to the Lions Head and Signal Hill. Day 6: Franschhoek Country House, The Winelands, South Africa

Within easy reach of Franschhoek, it’s a perfect spot from which to explore Franschhoek and The Western Cape. After a couple of nights here head back to Cape Town to start your return journey.
